Ledbury Amateur Dramatic Society (LADS) was founded in 1938 and currently has over 150 members.
If you are reading this, it is likely that you share our love of the theatre! Whether you are interested in acting, set-building, set painting, costumes, make-up, technical or properties – LADS has something for you!
LADS also owns and operates the Market Theatre which is an active and important part of the local community. As well as hosting LADS productions, the theatre delivers live plays, music events, films and live screened events. The Theatre appeals to all ages and attracts visitors from across the local counties.
While we’re fortunate to have experienced Members who share their talents in all aspects of theatre operations and productions, we are a volunteer-led organisation so welcome anyone who would like to get involved and help with our shows or operating the theatre.
The Market Theatre is staffed entirely by LADS volunteers, who work front of house as well as behind the scenes.

LADS General Meetings usually take place in the Theatre on the first Wednesday of the month (except January and August). All meetings start at 7:30pm (the bar opens at 7pm).
